• The Vanguard G5 EX filter range provides particulate and selected gas/vapour filtration options for use • only with the approved Vanguard G5 EX PAPR system. • The system uses a pre-filter together with either a P3 particulate filter or an approved combined filter, depending on the application, contaminant type and workplace risk assessment. • Filters must be correctly selected, fitted, used, maintained and replaced in accordance with the user instructions, the workplace respiratory protection program and applicable work health and safety requirements. • Captures larger debris and particles before they enter the main filter • Helps extend main filter service life and reduce operating costs • Must be used together with the particle filter or combined filter • Replace when dirty, wet, damaged or when filter loading indicates replacement is required • Certified to AS/NZS 1716:2012 Respiratory Protective Devices when used in conjunction with PIP Vanguard G5 EX PAPR system.
